Asics Gel-NYC Oatmeal Obsidian Grey

Discover the perfect balance of retro running heritage and modern streetwear with the ASICS GEL-NYC “Oatmeal Obsidian Grey,” released on May 2, 2023. Inspired by early-2000s running silhouettes, this versatile GEL-NYC features a breathable Oatmeal mesh upper complemented by layered Obsidian Grey suede and textile overlays for a premium, textured finish. The signature ASICS Tiger Stripes blend seamlessly into the neutral color palette, while darker grey detailing around the toe, heel, and eyelets creates depth and contrast. The combination of warm beige tones and cool grey accents gives the silhouette a refined, effortlessly wearable aesthetic.

Underfoot, the signature GEL-CUMULUS 16-inspired midsole combines lightweight foam with GEL cushioning in the forefoot and rearfoot, delivering excellent comfort and shock absorption throughout the day. A durable, multi-toned rubber outsole provides reliable traction while completing the sneaker's distinctive retro-running look. Understated, versatile, and unmistakably ASICS, the Oatmeal Obsidian Grey combines technical running heritage with timeless everyday style.
